Full form of UNO is United Nations Organizations.

It is the largest international organization and established on 24th October, 1945 after seeing the results of World War II. The headquarter of UNO is located at New York City.

To maintain the international peace and security, 51 countries came together with a same goal and agreed to sign the document after the World War II.

The main objective was to develop relations among countries and promote living standards, social progress and human rights.

The major focusing areas

To fight with the climate change, the member states are currently working with each other. Furthermore, UNO can take actions against those activities or a threat which may disturb the development, social growth and the peace.

The focusing areas of UNO are as following:

  • Provide Humanitarian help to those who are in need
  • Provide international security and peace
  • Protection to human rights, promoting democracy and approving the international law

The Structure of UNO

The main representative organ of the UN is the General Assembly. And all the member states are comes under the General Assembly, and with the universal representation it makes only UN body.

The United Nations Organization has six main bodies and which are:

  • The Security Council
  • The Secretariat
  • The Trusteeship Council
  • The General Assembly
  • The Social and Economic Council
  • The International Court of Justice
