The questions posed under this section are to stimulate a quick speech and class discussion. The teacher might ask several students to answer the same question for various possible opinions.

Activities

Now, here the teacher might question all students to pair up and tell each other the story in their own words and way and he/she himself might act as a co-communicator or a counselor. He/she could also question one student to tell the entire class the whole story in his/her own words. Then the teacher might act as a model and pronounce the words under this section and question the students to repeat the words oftentimes.

Last but not least, the teacher might use every word in a complete sentence and question the students to repeat for all possible contextual effects.

Miscellany

A variety of statements like proverbs and quotes can be identified under this section. The statements are deliberately selected to be provocative to spark a quick debate and discussion. Therefore, the teacher might select all of these statements like proverbs and quotes as a topic for class discussion.

One can begin with short stories like The Happy Prince written by Oscar Wilde, George Grow adaptation Little Red Riding Hood, and such.

Although in today’s time conversations do happen but with less storytelling. With short stories, kids can have a memorable experience of learning a new language and using it in everyday life.
